PASSENGERS ARE HERO'S!
The folks from the pittsburgh flight who tried to avert the disaster of a crash into a populated area and national landmark are NATIONAL HERO'S. They have not only saved hundreds, possibly thousands of lives, they prevented further devastation to the nation by protecting our assets.
You will be remembered as HERO'S!

I think we as "Americans" have forgotten the one thing that allows us to be called "Americans" and that is the fact that all of us excluding Native Indians have come here from another land. I find it ironic that most days "Americans" pride themselves of their culture by raising, sticking on their cars Italian flags or Irish flags but this week it has been American flags. When you ask someone what they are..they will give you a run down of "I am 5% English, 25 % Polish etr. I thought you were American? I feel that this terror may Freeze our Melting Pot and cause it to break into Pieces. Those that created this terror must pay for this, but killing more innocent people will not be the answer. AMericans have not experienced War on AMerican soil since the Civil War and let me tell you that it is not a glamorous thing. All of us will be effected someway somehow. Yes I believe in this country, but today I am a bit disappointed in our government and it's failure to protect me.

Years ago, I came across this poem that was originally scribbled by a soldier on a WWI battlefield. May it bring some small message of peace to grieving hearts-
They say you will not come again
Though I will always hear your voice
in silence and in song
and feel you ever near.
