America is going to come out of this waving her flag higher and prouder than ever. She cannot be kept down. She will prevail and when she does everything will be right with the world again. She is angry and she's got an attitude. That attitude discribed as arrogance by some is simply pride. That attitude will be what makes America rise above this atrocity and allow her wounds to heal. All I have to say is that I am absolutely horrified about what has happened in the USA.

My thoughts and those of all of my friends and family are with the citizens of America and especially those who await news of their loved ones who are lost.

I am proud to clearly state my belief that The UK, my country, should stand tall and be counted in its total, unequivocal support for the government and people of the USA. We should render any assistance civil or military that is required.

I cannot believe that the perpetrators of this atrocity can expect anything but the severest response from the free world.

I only wish there were something I can do to help, because I feel helpless at the moment.
