It is wrong and very anti religious for people to blame an entire race and nation for a group of peoples mistakes. People are saying we should kill the chidren for celebrating when it isn't there fault, they're CHILDREN.PLEASE STOP HATEING AND DEVESTATING THIS WORLD WITH MORE VIOLENCE.PLEASE HELP BRING PEACE TO THIS WORLD IN STEAD OF HATRED AND MORE DEATH.

Everyone stop the cruelty. We have just lost a part of America. Take time to grieve the loss of loved ones and the ones that are still missing. Everyone needs to take care of each other. Black, White, Yellow, Orange it doesn't make a difference. We have all been affected. Please stop posting such stupid things and focus on what is right (taking care of each other).

Please pray for the families still awaiting word of their loved ones instead.

I want to say that my arab-american cousin was at work in the World Trade Center and is still missing as of today. I am so sad at this time for a world that has turned so chaotic and full of hate. A world that uses religion as a form of intolerance and hatred. The sick people who did this did not care who they killed, they did not consider that they were taking fathers and mothers from their children.

We must not let so few angry, hate filled people turn us against one another. Although I am arab-american, I am also a cousin who is hurting for word on my missing relative. Above all I am a human being who cares about others no matter where they come from, what their religious affiliation is or the color of their skin. It is what is in their heart that is important.

TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE EXPRESESED VENOM AND HATRED TO LINDA, A MUSLIM EXPRESSING HER SYMPATHY AND HER FEARS, LET ME TELL YOU YOU ARE IGNORANT THUG MENTALITY PATHETIC CREATURES. IF I A JEW AND AN AMERICAN CAN UNDERSTAND WHERE SHE IS COMING FORM AND ACCEPT HER GOOD INTENTIONS, IF I KNOW FULL WELL THAT JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE PRACTICES A SPECIFIC RELIGION IS OF A SPECIFIC COUNTRY OR COLOUR, KNOW THAT ONE CAN NOT GENERALISE AND PUNISH THE INNOCENT FOR THE DEEDS OF SOME INSANE RADICALS, WHY CAN'T YOU???? I LEARNT FROM THE HOLOCAUST THAT ONE SHOULD BE TOLERANT, THAT HATE BREEDS HATE AND THAT ONE SHOULD JUDGE EACH PERSON INDIVIDUALLY AND NOT GENRALISE. TO LINDA: THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR FEARS AND EXPRESSING YOUR CONDOLENCES, PERHAPS IT WILL HELP TEACH OTHERS THAT WE ARE ALL THE SAME REGARDLESS OF WETHER WE PRACTICE ISLAM (LIKE YOU) OR JUDAISM (LIKE ME) OR ANY OTHER FAITH AT THAT. IT IS NOT THE FAITH WE PRACTICE WHICH MAKES SOME ANIMALS, BUT RATHER CLOSED MINDED HATRED, RACISM AND INTOLERANCE.

Steel...concrete...glass...Towers of hope.
They struck at symbols...Now they are symbols.
Death comes...unexpected, within once-safe walls.
The giant shudders, shakes, falls, burning.
None stand untouched, none do not mourn.

Silence...no thunder over air,
No bright contrails, crossing calm skies.
But the giant, scorched, spreads her wings...
These wings, not of death, but hope.

There is not a person in this country who does not worry about a friend, a relative, someone they knew once, a single name in the dust and rubble after the towers fell and the Pentagon burned. I wait here, watching, knowing that a friend walked into the disaster, perhaps from his very office in the NY OEM, walked in...and vanished when the towers fell. His name is Stu Goldstein. He is of the NYPD. Even those there, they have heard nothing of him...and he would have been first there, first to help...perhaps, first to die.

But I cannot mourn him, if he is dead. I can only rejoice, that he could give his life to save others, died doing what he loved best. I will not remember him with tears, for that is not the way. I will remember him as he lived...and for the lives he gave to others, to survivors.

The tears...they will come later. My tears will not come for the rescue workers...I stand among their number, and I know their hearts. My tears will come for the fallen, the missing, those lost who could not make the choice that Stu did...could not make the choice to walk into a tower of flame to bring others out, but could only pray for rescue.

And my tears will fall again, every time I hear of an American citizen beaten, cursed, abused...Every time I hear that one of my fellows has suffered, as a result of this. Suffered, from the acts of terrorists, terrorists who call themselves patriots. Terrorists who call themselves noble. Terrorists who call themselves...Christian. For it is terror, that these people bring to the innocent, to the children of other Americans.

For the schools closed here, the Islamic schools, I grieve. For the bullet holes in Texas, my tears fall. For the woman speaking of her grief, I mourn with her.

But for the Christian Americans who attack, in the wake of such devastating horror...For you, I have only hatred, only rage. For you, I pray to my gods, who are not yours, for justice, for you have taken the blade of fear from those who struck America. And now, you strike America with that blade, still bloody from the hands of the hijackers.

They held out a knife to our country. And you take it from them, striking deep into the hearts of America, of England, while that knife still drips with the blood of a pilot...a husband.

Touch not the blade, for it will cut thee. For America bears her own sword, the bright sword of justice and freedom, and that sword is poised at the throat of all terrorists, within and without. Bring terror to another, in thy safe haven of Christianity...and that terror will find your heart the more deeply.

To all that suffer in this tragedy, you have my sympathy and deepest condolences.

Until you take the blade and turn to yourself. Then, you have but my pity, for the gods will judge thee. And they will judge for eternity. There is no good in terrorism, and what you do is exactly that.
