It's difficult to believe that God would allow such a tragedy, but this is a fallen world. He still loves us and wants us to love Him. We in UK have survived numerous terrorist attacks but nothing on the scale of this disaster. Our love and support go to all those involved.

Sometimes we sit back and see the wonders of the world unravel themselves, and we are in aww. the power of god can give and take life in a blink of an eye , we question many a time gods way. How things are meant to be , that a loved one that was late for work or missed his/her lift would be a sign of god .............but could it be possible that the time ,or better yet ,this was meant to happen .All these people dead, was it their time to go ! all these people the same time, god may work in mysterious ways but sometruth must prevail among all our beliefs.God bless america .......then bless them i say , by giving reason to an unimagineable horrific day of MOURNING.....

A DAY TO REMEMBER

As a solider wife I know the fear of war
We know that the wars of today are the wars that could end our world
We know that the weapons of today are more powerful than man can imagine

Unless you have faced a war, WW1, WW2, and the other wars of that era, or
DESERT STORM you know not what true fear is.

Civilians live in fear, for their families, their homes, and their country, blessing the men and women who are so gallantly fighting for their nations.

But the military face the a horror of an unspeakable nature:

There are many of you here today who have faced this horror, when your husbands, sons or maybe even yourselves served your country. What country doesn’t matter, but the pride, honour, and the dedication was there – the knowledge that this would bring peace.

Your Children know the nightmare of having a parent, brother, sister, or love one so far away, not knowing when or IF they would ever see them again.

Desert Storm hit home for My family – as we were posted at a base that sent men, equipment and arms.
I was one of the lucky ones; my husband was able to stay in Canada – fixing the tanks, Personal Carriers and other vehicles that were damage in the battle and send back to Canada for repairs. But for our base just the knowledge that any day, yes any second, more men and women would be required to go over seas.
There was always a threat hanging over our heads that we could come under direct attack, even though we were a small base, but a very important base. Our gates were closed to the public; our boundaries were manned with armed guards,
and our status was one of high alert.
But it was our children who really felt the weight of what was going on. The ones who went to a Civilian School, were allowed to attend, but only with armed guards in attendance, and also knowing that if there was even a hint of trouble, they would immediately be take out of school and returned to the safety of the base.

We faired that WAR, hoping that there would never be another one. But mankind doesn’t learn, so wars kept waging, even if it was only between countries instead of
Nations, they kept at it.

But NOW THE WORSE WAR OF ALL has been waged; Against LIFE, LIBERTY, AND MOST OF ALL FREEDOM.

As I sit here typing the news of NATO’S Answer has just been announced, President Bush has promised that he will find and deal harshly with the people and if need be the country who harbours these people. Other powers including Canada have promised to back President Bush in his decisions.

The talk of WAR is once again in the Air, but this time it is a different war – it is a war against the most hated of all crime -TERRORISM –

The other wars were fought with (if though this sounds very strange) honour.

But the war that was waged on SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 on the United States and yes the rest of the free world was a war of Cowardice. The people who planned, executed and carried out this attack had no God, no thought for their fellow man, or no idea what the words “ LIFE LIBERTY AND FREEDOM means”.
Presidents have died for these words, nations have fought for these words, and the people of the world live these words. Yes their lives may be harsh, sometimes even down right cruel, but the love and meaning of these words never wavier in their meaning.
Now one group of people, they do not even deserve the dignity of being called humans, of taken it upon themselves to hit us in the very heart of the Nation that stand for all these things.
What they hoped to achieve is beyond our understanding, even the major powers cannot understand their motives. But their hopes were dashed, instead of sending the world into mast confusion - they have only succeeded in bringing the major powers closer together, instead of fear, unrest and total disorder –they have causes the biggest out pouring of love, cooperation, and world unity, instead of all their minor hopes and wishes being carried out – they have received the hatred, and condensation of the whole free world.

To these cowards I say may God, or who ever your deity may be have mercy on your souls.

Now, for the hardest part of this message, to all the military – peace keepers, and the many, many officers of security that are now, or about to protect our lands.
This war was forced upon your nations, you and your families, and the general public who look to you for their peace of mine and security of their lands. This is the war of all wars, as it is not a war for country, leadership or even material goods.
It is a war against evil, unspeakable evil, a war against all we hold dear, a war against the very heart and souls of all freedom loving people, a war against the very core of humanity.

Today your leaders are fighting against unbelievable odds, on how to battle this unknown force, but the answers are very very clear. War is the only answer, so you must have faith in their judgement once more, and serve your country. But this time you will be fighting shoulder to shoulder with nations you once fought against. You will stand proudly along side men you once fought against, with this one common thought among you all “We fight for Life, Liberty and Freedom,”
And no matter how hard terrorists try to take this from you, your families and your nations you will succeed.

GOODNESS WILL WIN OVER EVIL.

"A Message to All Americans"
September 15, 2000

"The message that follows this one is from all of us at the Spirit of Ma'at. We hope that perhaps the ideas it expresses can help to empower us in this moment of darkness.

But first — now that four days have slowly slipped by — my soul would like to speak to you, if you wish to listen, about something I see as a core issue in all that is happening.

We Americans have been watching life go by as though it were a surrealist movie. On TV, we see the flames of wars and watch them burn — Israel and Palestine, NATO, Kosiva, Iraq, Iran, India and Pakistan, Columbia and the drug guerrillas, North and South Korea, Russia, Chechnya, Ireland, England. We see the incredible pain. But it doesn't affect us directly. We have become numb to the violence. Numbness appears to be our only way of dealing with the tragedies of life. We feel very little in our hearts and bodies. In fact, most of us are barely in our bodies. We exist mostly in our minds and in the images.

It is all so removed.

And within our own society are ills that weaken us in our own eyes and in those of the world, and again, we are numb. We do not feel in our hearts the pain of the children who are raped, tortured, and made to serve the perpetrators of child pornography. We are numb to child abuse and people abuse, murder and violence on our streets and in our homes. We accept divorce as the natural order of things.

We witness the suffering of the world's people, the ravages of hunger and starvation. We face horrible diseases that threaten all life. And even more devastating, we see our Mother Earth herself dying, in her final gasps for life. CNN brings all of this to our eyes in massive doses, and we let it all into our living rooms, watching our little boxes, playing in our fantasy world, eating and drinking our fine foods and wines.

How could we allow ourselves to feel the true pain of it all? To feel such pain could almost kill us. So we don't feel it. It never happens to us.

What now? The pain is here. Not just at our doorstep, but here, within our homeland. What do we do now?

Whatever we do, I doubt if we will continue in the old way.

In the past, we have reacted to conflict with emotional violence of our own. In families, this almost always leads to pain and divorce. In the world, in this case, it leads to war. Real war, that will surely be fought worldwide, but this time, most likely, also in our own neighborhoods.

Supporting this war is one of our options.

But there is another option. It begins by first understanding why this is happening to us. I say this because I don't believe that we do understand. We really are too far removed from life.

I think we must learn to feel the pain that is worldwide. When we see a child burning in India or a little baby dying of starvation in Africa or bombs dropping on beautiful villages snuggled in the countryside, as a nation our hearts could respond as One. We could change this world by our love instead of our violence.

So I say that when we can understand and feel the pain of our distant brothers and sisters, then perhaps we will have the wisdom to know what to do about this horrible tragedy we have all just experienced as a nation.

The world can come together and say, "No more terrorism." We can let go of all terrorism, even our own, and find a way to make peace real. This seems to me to be the only answer. We create our world by our lives. We can create a world without terrorism if we wish and focus upon that.

But we do have to wish and focus upon a peaceful world — not stare at the TV in a coma. We have to come alive and do things that will make a difference.

The unity that we are all feeling now is a place of strength that could be the catalyst that alters the world in such a way that terrorism is a distant memory. Or it could become the energy that drives a lynch mob into chaos and perpetuates the pain and war, with the real possibility that this course could bring an end to civilization as we know it. It is our choice.

In a marriage — which is much like what we have now, since we cannot leave the Earth — the object is not to kill the other person, even if the other person may be making our lives uncomfortable or even painful. If we decide to solve our problems with murder, we are no different from those we consider evil. Finding a way where both people — both sides of any conflict — can live together and love and respect one another is probably the only response that will save the Earth.

For World War Three will almost surely take away the life of our Mother.

But before we can respond in a healthy manner, we first must feel, we must care, or there is nothing. We need to get out of our Lazyboys, stand up, and change our world into a planet of peace.

Through prayer and inner peace, and then through taking the kinds of action that come from a peaceful heart, we can change this world. I have great faith in us and in America. I believe with my whole heart that we will find the right way.

In love and service,

Drunvalo"

There is only one way to solve the problem of hate and terrorism! Even if all the terrorists were found and their countries blown off the earth there would be hundreds more waiting to take there place! The underlying motivation for their hatred and violence must be destroyed! DEATH TO ALAH! DEATH TO ISLAM!! But it shouldn't stop there! Christendom is responsible for 95% of all bloodshed on earth the past 1500 years. Tens of millions have been conquered and butchered all in the name of Jesus! Whole native cultures have been wiped out in the name of Jesus. Religeous hatred and bloodshed is still going on in Israel, Ireland, former Yugoslovia, Africa and other countries, mostly Christian! There is only one way to rid the earth of hatred, terrorism and bloodshed! RID THE EARTH OF ALL RELIGEON!!! Without religeon there is no more motive for hatred and bloodshed! It is the only logical answer! If you think I'm crazy you need to pull your head out! 95% of all wars, fighting and terrorism in the last 500 years has been because of religeous beliefs! Wake up people because this terrorist attack is only the beginning!!! IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all you Religeonists and Patriots: HYPOCRITES!!! You forget Hiroshima? Nagasaki? War is between governments and their armies, not innocent citizens! Yet the USA thought nothing of dropping atom bombs and murdering hundreds of thousands of Japanese citizens mostly women, children and elderly! That was far worse than what happened in NY. But that's OK right? The USA doesn't need to be ashamed of that, right? No apology necessary, right? You Religeous and Patriotic HYPOCRITES!!! Wake up! There is only one way to solve the problem of hate and terrorism! Even if all the terrorists were found and their countries blown off the earth there would be hundreds more waiting to take there place! The underlying motivation for their hatred and violence must be destroyed! DEATH TO ALLAH! Even the attack on Pearl Harbor was motivated by the Japanese Shinto religeous beliefs. There is only one way to rid the earth of hatred, terrorism, war and bloodshed! RID THE EARTH OF ALL RELIGEON!!! Without religeon there is no more motive for hatred, wars and bloodshed! It is the only logical answer! If you think I'm crazy you need to pull your head out! 95% of all spilled blood from wars, fighting and terrorism in the last 500 years has been because of religeous beliefs! Wake up people because this terrorist attack is only the beginning!!! IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE LEADING TO ARMAGEDDON!!! THIS IS THE PROPHECY OF REVELATION!!! No one wants to respond to this because they are afraid it's true!

Greetings from sunny South Africa,

I am at a total loss of words. I have been glued to my television since this terrible tragedy. I have no explanation, nor do I have words of wisdom. All I have is my love and condolences to all those involved. My prayers are with you all.

In response to BRAIN.
"Religion" is not the cause of hatred and bloodshed. Satan is. Yes, Satan uses psuedo-religion as a means to keep people from developing a deep rooted faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. It is his mission to spark rejection of God. You cannot get rid of the false religions out there any more than you can get rid of Satan. There is a deep difference between Faith and Religion, and yes, it does matter which faith. However, I've yet to meet a human being with true faith in Christ who espoused the kind of violence begotten by so-called "religion" as you see it. You blame Christianity. There is Christianity in name only, but real Christians who've had a heart changed by Jesus Christ are nothing to fear. Christianity in name and Christianity in practice are two very different things. God is not the author of this disaster. It is not His will that any are lost. But He has blessed mankind with free choice and free will. Unfortunately there are those who use it wrongly, and then blame God. Let's put the blame on the devil where it truly belongs. For it is God's desire that everyone find peace and rest in Him. He desires to comfort and hold those who are mourning and suffering from this attack. May they find that comfort and that hope through faith. My prayers are with them all.
