Just a thought to reflect upon. What kind of minds would rejoice in the pain of others? Why is it some minds insist upon using the name of God to justify their horrendous actions. It is plain disgusting. Dragging the name of God through the mud is a SIN. My condolences are with all the American people. May the force that give "light" to this world sustain in this trying time. Those who are using the name of God to justify an act such as this are not referring to the Almighty God, creator of Heaven and Earth, who came to this world to die for our sins so that we would not have suffer in eternal damnation (Hell). They are worshipping some other God. Jesus Christ would not condone such actions.

God has a lot to do with this, but only the aftermath, and only in the way that He hurts with us and for us. He did not cause these acts, nor would He ever do such things. Please people, if you don't know the God I am talking about, go to your local church (try an Evangelical Free, Southern Baptist, Berean or non-denominational church for starters) and talk to someone there! They can lead you into a REAL relationship with the God that created this Earth. God longs to hear you call upon His name, and He will not turn away from you if you come to Him.

Amen to Psalm_Lover my friend in christ, you couldn't have explained it any better. It's now our duties as christians to go out there and be fishers of men, to bring others to JESUS>

The God that I know is a loving, caring spirit and does not use violence to get his message across. How dare people use Gods name in any way that supports killing, hatred and violence. They certainly are not praying to the God that created them. The only force that would relish in this horrible tragedy is the devil himself. People of this country need to come back to God before its to late to do so. This is only the beginning of things to come. God help us all!

These men are now WELL AWARE of their theological mistake....They've learned that their "god" is nowhere in sight now and it's awfully ~HOT~ where they are as their souls will BURN for eternity!

everyone agrees that GOD - from whatever perspective good, peace loving people see GOD as - does not condone violence, especially not on scale as was shown yesterday. Whether you are Southern Baptist or Muslim (real muslim, not terrorist islamicist!) GOD is for peace and good-neighborliness.

While some people make speak of anger and hate/ retaliation is not about that. Retaliation is about love and justice. God supports the protecting of the innocent even if it means executing those that may harm them. Punishment of the perpetrators of this mass murder is an act of defense of the innocent because without a doubt they will not stop here if they are not caught.

Those that did this do not follow the teachings of the Koran, or of any god of any of the people of the book. They struck in hatred and in anger, and we must pray, to any gods we believe in, for the strength to not strike back at the innocent within all our countries in anger and in fear. We cannot, WILL NOT, let them turn us, turn American citizens, into the same kind of hatred-maddened animals that attacked our country. Do not let terrorism rule us, do not bring that terror to those that have suffered just as deeply, and will suffer more so, because of their faith, their nationality. Even one mother lost, one child, in a crime of hatred and revenge, brings us to their level.

Tuesday night I went to my church to pray for everything that has gone on. I did not know what to pray. But then God brought this Psalm to me. I prayed it over and over, interjecting "us" or "we" instead of "me" or "I".

When I'm unsure of what to pray, I always turn to the Psalms, since the Bible is God's inspired Word, it's always the "right" thing to pray.

Psalm 70 (NIV)

Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me.

May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" turn back because of their shame.

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!"

Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

This has nothing to do with God. No God would allow this to happen it is the will anddesire of men to do this to others. There is no god in a world where this occurs. Now, it is time for us to show those involved that we can and will destroy their women and children so that they wont be able to raise any more defects of humanity

Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

The love and support of God and your fellow Americans is what will bring us through this terrible time a stronger person/nation.

"We will destroy their women and children?" Anybody who could say this obviously has no children and probable has never lost someone unexpectedly like this. Do two wrongs make a right? The people responsible will be punished. The innocent should not be executed, as ours have been. This is not in the time of "Hammurabi's code of Law". Anyone who could look into the face of a child-or even to think of destroying the very essence of innocence...that's just plain disgusting.
