Anyone know the conditions of Costa Rica following the San Salvador quake which occured today? Twenty friends from South Carolina left last night for San Jose, and we have yet to hear from them. Any info would be appreciated!

What are the conditions in the community of Calle Real? We have many friends who live there and in the immediate surrounding areas.

We have an ecumenical group of people from Horseheads, NY who are in Ocotepeque province of Honduras working on restoring houses destroyed last year in Hurricane Mitch. Does anyone have news as to whether that area of Honduras was affected by the earthquake? I'm the parish secretary for St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, and I know people are anxious to hear that their rector and his wife are ok.

Thanks! Please feel free to email me:)

I received an email this afternoon from my friend who is a priest in San Marcos, Hondruas, not too far from Ocotepeque. Since I had stayed at a monestary in Ocotepeque, he assured me that things were okay there as well as in San Marcos. His order did receive damage to one of their churches in San Salvador but things sound pretty good in Honduras.

Any word on how the Central American quake affected Western Mexico? In particular the Puerto Vallarta area.

Does anyone know if any of the agencies helping out in El Salvador are accepting donations online ? If so please contact me at @usa.net">7point1@usa.net with the link. I have a website that is on earthquakes in South Asia and would like to provide these links there so that more people can help out the survivors of this disaster.
Thanks

I live in San Pedro Sula Honduras. Honduras has not suffered any damage are deaths from the EARTHQUAKE. The Quake shook the intire country pretty hard, but we were very lucky. If you have people here they are fine.
