A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 on the open-ended Richter scale rocked southern California early Saturday morning, knocking out power to parts of Los Angeles, more than 100 miles from the epicenter.

It felt like a six here and lasted for at least a minute or so it
seemed. The windows are still rattling thirty minutes later.

At approximately 2:40am a 7.0 earthquake hit Josuha Tree (approx 80 mi
southeast of Los Angeles. I am approx 40 mi away and it lasted for over 2
minutes.

I AM AT WORK IN NORTH HILLS, CA AND I COULD ACTUALLY FEEL THE ROLLING MOTION IN THE NHCU. i REALLY STARTED TO FEEL EMOTIONALLY SICK AFTER THE QUAKE BECAUSE OF THE BAD MEMORIES OF THE QUAKE IN JAN 1994, HERE IN NORTHRIDGE,CA. I ACUALLY HAD TO SIT DOWN FOR ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR TO CALM DOWN.

were about 20 miles away from joshua and it seemed like it was never going to end the after shock keeps hitting and were getting rocked.

I WAS AT WORK,THOUGHT I WAS HAVING A DIZZIE SPELL BUT NO IT WAS A SMOOTH ROLLING QUAKE HOPE EVERYONE IS OKAY.

I live on the Marine base in 29 Palms, We lost electricity for the better part of an hour It knocked some things of shelves, but no one was hurt in my neighborhood. (Shadow Mountain on the Marine Base) I think the worst of it might have been felt by the Exercise force in the field as they are the closest to the epicenter.
