At 11 a.m. ET, the storm was about 80 miles (130 km) east of West Palm Beach, Florida, near Grand Bahama, the northern-most island in the Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center said.

There are 4 people who stayed in their home in Vero Beach, Fl thru hurricane Frances and friends and relatives have not heard from them yet. Monday Sept 6.
Is anyone available to check on them?

**HURRICANE IVAN**
PLEASE HELP!!!!!! MY NAMEIS MICHELLE , I HAVE 2 BOYS 12 AND 5. WE BARELY ESCAPED THE HURRICANE TUESDAY EVENING ABOUT 5:30 BEFORE IT HIT PENSACOLA. ME AND MY BOYS AND THEIR LITTLE DOG ARE IN TALLAHASSEE.
WE ONLY HAVE A PLACE TO STAY FOR ANOTHER NIGHT
THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO....WE HAVE NO FAMILY, DONT KNOW ANYONE HERE TO HELP , CAN NOT GO BACK TO PENSACOLA NOW. I'IO IS WASHED OUT, OTHER ROADS ARE FLOODED. THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY AND HARDLY RUNNING WATER IN SOME PLACES. WE ONLY HAVE MONEY FOR A COUPLE MORE DAYS. CAN ANYONE HELP US WITH ANY CASH DONATIONS BY WESTERN UNION?? I HAVE NO BANK ACCOUNT ANY AMOUNT WOULD BE APPRECIATED ,WE ARE IN DIRE NEED, NO IDEA WHAT WE WILL DO, THANKS , MICHELLE
