This is just plain ignorance. Provide me with some credible evidence to back your statements. Dudayev wanted war and he was well prepared. I have videos of several army parades that took place a year before the war. He organized an army and Dudayev was well aware of Russia's motives in the region. The Russian onslaught was inevitable. But Dudayev wouldn't let this hinder his dream of an independent Chechnya. The Chechens knew sooner or later they would have to face the world's most 'powerful' army (as they have been for the last three centuries). It wasn't anything new. It happened before and it was going to happen again. Dudayev was waiting. The whole of Chechnya was waiting. And Russia got what it deserved.

There is however one thing I agree with you. Dudayev was looking for materialistic gains. This was his main purpose. Islam was not his number one priority. This you might say led to the eventual "downfall" in economy and stability. In contrast, Basayev and Khattab are fighting for Islam, and this I'm confident will bring back stability and success to the region.

The corpses of bandits have been found in the settlement of Komsomolskoye. Federals had discovered 426 corpses of militants by the moment, with 246 of them having been removed to the settlement of Goity to bury them, the North Caucasian press centre of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry informed RIA Novosti. The relatives of the killed bandits have taken out 40 corpses.

Ruslan Ghelayev's gang offered a fierce resistance to federal forces near the settlements of Komsomolskoye. The military witnessed that almost each house in the settlement had turned to a pillbox.

Antonio, I am not sure where to begin on all of your retoric. So I will just start with the facts.

"Government has disarmed the people"...uh you can still walk into a Wal Mart and by a nice gun. Come on everybody and there brother in this country has a gun.

"street crime is out of control"...uh crime is down for like the 5th straight year...see times square in NYC.

"where is NATO with the Tomahawk missles to take out Bin Laden financed trained and sponsered Chechen extreamest"...uh Clinton had tomahawks shot a his camp in Afganastan and suspetced chemcal warfare plant in sudan over a year ago.

"the residents of North American Continent welcome the leberating armys of Serbia and Russia" ..uh HA HA HA yea right. Lets see Ole Slobodon is 0-4 when it comes to wars and Russia is having trouble with 5,000 guys in Chechnya. I doubt you could find 5 Americans who would see this statement as not laughable.
