QUESTION No.1: Why is this barbaric war going on at all? It is very obvious that this war will neither achieve a decisive victory for russia nor establish any political stability. On the contrary I am quite certain that the result will be more terrorism, more instability in the Kaukasus region and strive for indepence for other minorities within russia itself.
QUESTION No.2: Why is there so little media-coverage concerning Chechnya world-wide (excepting russia? Media-coverage is particularly poor in North America. Does this indicate lack of interest for this near genocidal russian agressian, reminiscant of Stalin? Or is there a political interest not to inform the public properly? Surely, if the media would correctly report that this is a) a war targeting and killing in the first instance innocent civilians and aiming to destroy the economic base of a whole country and b) that this is part of a 200 years or so campaign to destroy the Chechen people and nation, then there would probably be an outcry to stop this insanity.
QUESTION No.3: Who is financing this war? Russia is broke.
QUESTION No.4: Why is it that Europe, North America, the IMF and others do not immediately stop financial support for russia (and thus stop supporting this war)?
QUESTION No.5: Why is there completely insufficient help for the suffering refugees, mainly children, women and older men?
QUESTION No.6: Why is there no political pressure to stop this genocidal war?
