Consider the situation: 100,000 well armed
Russian troops with tanks, armored personnel
carriers and batteries of Grad and other missile
launchers indiscriminately bombing and shelling
innocent civilians, because they don't have
what it takes to fight say 5,000 poorly armed
mujahideen defending their land, their honor,
and their freedom, with HAND WEAPONS.

If the Mujahid then takes out a FLANK of
russians, it is a "massacre" in the sense
of a brilliant victory that stands out of
proportion to the sizes of the combatants
just as in sports reporting, a routing of
the opposite team is called a massacre.

You consider mindless Russian soldiers who
are willing to indiscriminately bomb non-
combatant civilians as HUMAN BEINGS?

Where is your sense of awe - or are you
too sozzled to realize the significance of
this vast disparity of numbers?

I am not for the killing of innocent non-combatant
civilians - in fact that flies in the face of the
Islamic code of war. But recently the Americans
(and now the Russians) have become a cowardly lot
when it comes to hand to hand combat. No - they
prefer to inflict "collateral damage" and wring
their hands with crocodile tears about it, while
they want to minimize damage to their own forces
by indiscriminate bombing from far, far, away,
and high, high, up. Tell me. Who are the cowards?
Those who risk their very lives, and fight with
their very last breath or those who hide their
hideous designs and callous results on the ground with talk of "surgical strikes" not even
daring to show the real results of thousands of
innocent lives being lost by only showing video-
game like electronic screen shots?

And in the case of the Iraq sanctions, what kind
of sick inhumanity does it take to wipe out kids
by the millions, all in the name of fighting one
Saddam, who they'd rather not tangle with anyway
because another one will follow right after.
Remember, America, what goes around DOES come
around. So don't give me America this and America
that. If you remember, when Menachem Begin, no
angel himself, was able to stave off exposure on
human rights records by just *mentioning* the
skeleton's in America's cupboards.


I think there are still some chivalrous Americans
out there who feel proud to fight on a level
playing field, with equally armed opponents. Not
these wimps who are only concerned when their
own children start being born deformed and show
