French Officer Says NATO Deliberately Bombed China Embassy

VIENNA - A former French intelligence officer who served at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces during the Kosovo crisis said in an interview with a German magazine that the NATO bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade in May 1999 was done on purpose.

Maj. Pierre Bunel, who is facing trial for leaking intelligence material to Yugoslavia while working at the NATO headquarters, told the German monthly Konkret that he had seen a NATO intelligence list of diplomatic missions in Belgrade showing the correct location of China’s embassy.

The United States, which carried out the bombing mission, has called the attack a mistake, saying the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency selected the bombing target using an outdated map that did not show the embassy on the site bombed by U.S. warplanes.

According to Bunel, preparations for the NATO bombing operation had been completed by the fall of 1998 and NATO chose the targets and prepared the ammunition based on U.S.-supplied maps.

“I know where the Chinese Embassy was located because it was on...the list I got from the intelligence department of NATO,” Bunel told Konkret. The magazine will be on sale Friday.

“The embassy was hit by five laser-guided rockets, five! If it had been a single Tomahawk (cruise missile), you could have believed it was a mistake,” he said.

Bunel was arrested in October 1998 for passing secret NATO maps to Belgrade. He was released on bail in September last year pending trial on charges on high treason. (Kyodo news agency)

Putin Has Upper Hand at Roundtable
0054 GMT, 000728

Eighteen of Russia’s most powerful businessmen, seeking immunity from the Kremlin’s recent criminal probes into their business practices, requested a conference with President Vladimir Putin July 28. The meeting will determine the course of the relationship between Putin’s Kremlin and the oligarchs. Will it be confrontation or compromise?

Putin’s administration has investigated several powerful business leaders in the past few months, including media magnate Vladimir Gusinsky, against whom charges were dropped on July 26. Gusinsky seems to have struck a deal with the Kremlin. If the remaining oligarchs are lucky, they will also be extended offers.

Since his inauguration in May, Putin has aggressively investigated and prosecuted the wealthy Russian businessmen known as the oligarchs, due to their historically strong political influence. Putin plans to split the businessmen from the political connections that enabled them to amass vast personal fortunes. Cracking down on the oligarchs is one of the vital first steps to regaining central control of the Russian economy.

Under former President Boris Yeltsin, the oligarchs grew rich from participating in deceptive privatization deals and circumventing national laws and taxes. The men, some of whom found their way into Yeltsin’s inner circle of friends and advisers, had access to the president’s ear and the nation’s coffers. Putin’s inauguration in May heralded the advent of an administration much less receptive to the corrupt businessmen’s interests.

The oligarchs, temporarily unified by the hope of safety in numbers, called for a meeting with Putin. The group, which includes such magnates as Rem Vyakhirev (director of Gazprom), Mikhail Khodorkovsky (holdings in Yukos Oil), Vladimir Potanin (owns Norilsk Nickel) and Vagit Alekperov (holdings in LUKoil), asks that the government cease the investigations into the privatization deals that made them all rich during Yeltsin’s regime. In return, they have offered to pay their taxes, which provide a significant amount of Russia’s revenues when combined.

The Russian media claim that the oligarchs now have the upper hand, because they called the meeting and extended an offer. However, Putin still holds all the cards. By using the police and secret services to deal individually with each businessman, Putin has been able to conduct legal, publicly popular and economically necessary investigations into the lucrative crimes committed by the oligarchs. If Putin gave in to the oligarchs, he would reinforce the very political influence he is trying to strip from them. The president has no reason to be swayed by the joint offer. In fact, he may be in the position to offer the oligarchs something.

Suddenly this morning, Media-MOST’s spokesman, Dmitry Ostalsky, reported that the government’s case against Gusinsky had collapsed, lacking evidence. Other sources, however, suggest that although the charges were lifted, the investigation will continue. Gusinsky flew to Spain late in the night, as soon as he was free to leave Russia.

Gusinsky’s arrest sent a warning to the rest of the country’s influential tycoons that their own arrests might be imminent. Gusinsky slept four nights in a notoriously harsh Moscow prison in June before making bail. Since then, the holdings of his company, Media-MOST, were subject to police searches, and he was interrogated and forbidden from traveling abroad.

The exact details of the deal that set Gusinsky free are unclear. He was accused of withholding $10 million gained during a privatization of a television station. Russian daily Kommersant, owned by Gusinsky rival Boris Berezovsky, reported today that Gusinsky had been in intense negotiations with the Kremlin, in which he refused to sign over a higher stake in his television station, NTV, to state-owned gas giant Gazprom. Gusinsky did reportedly agree to soften NTV’s criticism of the president and the state. This may be true but was not likely the only concession.

The Kremlin needs to find a way to wrench the state’s money and property from each businessman. Now that Putin has shown them what he is capable of, the oligarchs might consider relinquishing some of their property before doing time in jail.

Although the oligarchs called the meeting, Putin’s goals will determine the results. The oligarch roundtable will be an introduction to reality for the oligarchs. Putin will maintain his cool hold on control, as he did by excluding Berezovsky and Gusinsky from the meeting. This meeting will serve as Putin’s final warning to the oligarchs – a chance to face them in person and confirm that he intends to arrest and investigate each one, unless they are willing to exchange some of their illicitly earned wealth for their freedom. http://www.stratfor.com/CIS/commentary/0007280054.htm

This is the letter Bill Dorich slammed Chicago Tribune with, in respect to

the latest UN resurrection of the Srebrenica myth.

November 22, 1999

Letter to the Editor

Chicago Tribune

Dear Editor,

Your article today, (11/22/99) ''A Mea Culpa From The UN'' is a disgrace.

This is not a Mea Culpa nor a confession, it's moral bankruptcy led by
Secretary General Kofi Annan. Srebrenica is one of the greatest fabrications
of this war. It began when Madeleine Albright showed the world satellite photographs
of ''a mass grave in Srebrenica'' that turned out to be a hoax. UN forces propped up
the deception by first reporting 10,000 Srebrenica victims which was then reduced
to 8,000, then 7,000. In much the same manner that our Secretary of Defense,
William Cohen told the American people that the Serbs killed 100,000 Albanian
victims. Evidence of 7,000 Srebrenica victims has eluded the Tribunal now for
4 years. Little mention is made in this UN report that some of the names of
the victims of Srebrenica showed up on polling registrations since their
alleged demise.Kofi Annan's report is a cover-up because it betrays any
acknowledgement of Serbian victims. Your article describing scenes of
''unimaginable savagery'' without telling what happened to 3,200 Serbian
victims in the 42 villages that surrounded Srebrenica is a cover-up, too.
The omissions in Annan's report that the Bosnian Muslims used the so-called
''safe haven'' of Srebrenica as a military base is corrupt. From inside
Srebrenica, Nasir Oric and his Muslim troops razed those 42 Serbian villages
and slaughtered over 3,000 innocent women and children. Don't those Serbs
deserve justice, too?
Bill Schiller, reporting in the Toronto Star on July 16, 1995 wrote about an
interview with Nasir Oric and the video he was shown of Oric holding the
decapitated heads of some of his Serbian victims. He called the footage,

''Nasir Oric's Greatest Hits.'' Schiller wrote: ''We ambushed them,'' Oric
said when a number of dead Serbs appeared on the screen. The next sequence
of dead bodies had been done in by explosives: ''We launched them to the
moon,'' Oric boasted. When the footage of a bullet-marked ghost town appeared
without any visible bodies, Oric hastened to announced: ''We killed 114 Serbs
there.'' Why has Nasir Oric not been indicted for war crimes? Serbs are
hardly impressed by these latter-day confessions that continue to omit any
reference to Serbian victims.

In a Washington Post article by John Pomfret on July 17, 1995 from
Medjedja
near Tuzla, Pomfret wrote: ''About 4,000 Bosnian army soldiers-many in rags,
some crazed with exhaustion-trudged for five days through Serb-held territory
to escape from Srebrenica to reach a safe haven here.'' How was it possible
for the Serbs to kill 7,000 Srebrenica Muslim troops when John Pomfret saw
4,000 of these men with his own eyes? And what were 4,000 Bosnian army troops
doing inside the so-called ''safe-haven'' of Srebrenica? Obviously there is
no mention in this UN report that several hundred Srebrenica troops gave
themselves up and were held by the Serbs near Belgrade.

But that is not the end of the deception. A UNHCR report #37, dated
September 13 said: ''Approximately 5,000 Srebrenica Muslim troops left the
enclave prior to its fall. The Muslim government has admitted that these men
were reassigned to other units of its armed forces. The fact that family
members were not informed of it was justified by the obligation to keep it a
military secret.''

What is ''downright Pollyannaish'' about this article is this
unbelievable level of duplicity that continues to brainwash the American
public from the UN and the media.

book, Kosovo.

Trying to do the maths here: How many people were originally supposed to be in Srebrinica? How many of those were civilians. What is understood by Troops?trained army or just male bosnians? 5ooo left, 4000 arrived? So the others gave themselves up to serbian forces or deserted? How many of these "names" have shown up on electoral registers?
That just leaves this mysterious figure of 7000. or were the 5000 part of that?

Delennn, the link you posted doesn't seem to be working.

Maj. Pierre Bunel, who is facing trial for leaking intelligence material to Yugoslavia while working at the NATO headquarters,..............

would you rely on this guy's honesty and integrity?.........Wonder if he was paid for his
"assistance" to both FRY and the Paper concerned.
And this was reported from....Vienna(Austria?!) of all places.

Well I suppose he probably is telling the truth...
Jeez! The "reasonable man"(basis for idea of trial by jury) would be stretched by that one...

Dimi, wonderful!!
I'm not sure of Kim's resurection yet though.
They are still working on the bionics and some of the wiring....."I think therefore I am...Piep, whirrr, crash"

Sorry another one of my awful jokes, but it serves a purpose:

A journalist, a physisist and a mathmatician take a train to Glasgow.
On the way they see a black sheep in a field.

"Ah" , says the journalist, "from this I can infer that there is at least one black sheep in every scotish herd!"

"Rubbish", says the physisist," the only thing I can infer is that there is one black sheep in that field".

"You are both Full of it!", says the mathmatician.....

" All I can infer is that there is a sheep in that field that is black on at least one side!"

Hey, is everyone asleep today?

Here we go another maths test. Can anyone reduce to a simple formular?

SREBRENICA : THE TRUTH
Spetsnaz - Jul 28, 2000 03:50 (212.208.*)

Srebrenica massacre.

"The greatest massacre by far of the war", "..one of the most horrific episodes of the Bosnia
war..", "the worst wartime slaughter in Europe since the Nazi Holocaust", "the worst atrocities
committed in Europe since World War II", "genocide", "war crime", etc...
The number of alleged victims varied from 8,000 (NY Times 15Sep95) to 12,000 (Washington Post
27Oct95).
In order to investigate the massacres issue, an "Expert Group on Exhumations and Missing Persons",
chaired by the Office of High Representative, has been created in spring 1996, under the control of
the International Committee of the Red Cross. The EGEMP groups together all the international
bodies concerned with this issue (the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, the UN Expert for the
Special Process Dealing with Missing Persons in the Former Yugoslavia, ICTFY, IFOR, IPTF...).
The organization responsible for exhumations, forensic researches, and centralizing all related
information is Physicians for Human Rights (an Boston based american organization).

Five years later, after intensive digging of several cubic kilometers of earth, it is reasonable to
expect that most of the "evidences of mass killings" have been found.
So I dug into the official PHR reports list :
- 1996 : 460 bodies found. 4 sites reported (Cerska:150, Nova Kasaba:33, Lazete, Pilice) (Forensic
Science report 16Jul97) (~ same numbers in a NYT article by Mike O?Connor, "Mass Graves in Bosnia
Bolster War-Crimes Cases" 14May98. See also International Herald Tribune 14May98).
- 1997 : Kravica site : 73, Suhi-Potok : 8. (Forensic monitoring reports, 1997).
- 1998 : Svilile : 26, Bosanski Petrovac : 13 (Serbian soldiers), Kiseljak : 2, Kakanj : 25, Jajce
: 81 (civilian + soldiers). (Forensic monitoring reports, 1998).

A curious fact should be noted here. PHR publishes individual forensic reports (of a mathematical
precision) for the years 97 and 98, but not 96, crucial year nevertheless. Thus, the number of 460
is cited only in one article, relatively vague and not verifiable. PHR even does a mistake in
another article citing the number of 600.
This is suspect. When one does not publish something that has to be published, it means that one
have something to hide. But what ? Do the 460 contain too many undesired (i.e. serbian) corpses,
like those of Mrkonjic Grad mass grave ? (181 Serbs massacred by Croats in the summer 95. Legal
Times 22Apr96). Or are the 460 far less than 460 ?
The truth is probably that the truth is not politically correct, so thus unpublishable.

Well, well, well.
I am forced to admit that "the worst wartime slaughter in Europe since the Nazi Holocaust" deals
with just several hundreds victims, which looks, in fact, very reasonable for 3 years of war.

Then I began to collect bizarre informations :
- ''About 4,000 Bosnian army soldiers - many in rags, some crazed with exhaustion - trudged for
five days through Serb-held territory to escape from Srebrenica to reach a safe haven here [in
Medjejda].'' John Pomfret, Washington Post 17Jul95.
- "Some 3,000 to 4,000 Bosnian Muslims who were considered by UN officials to be missing after the
fall of Srebrenica have made their way through enemy lines to Bosnian government territory." Chris
Hedges, NY Times 18Jul95.
- "2,000 Bosnian government troops were in an area north of Tuzla." 'Missing Enclave Troops Found',
Michael Evans, London Times 02Aug95.
The existence of those missing-not-really-missing troops is even confirmed by an imprudent UNHCR
report :
- ''Approximately 5,000 Srebrenica Muslim troops left the enclave prior to its fall (...) The fact
that family members were not informed of it was justified by the obligation to keep it a military
secret." ICRC report #37 13Sep95.
The Bosnian government gave some embarrassed and suspect explanations, saying that thousands
"missing" have disappeared... back in the ranks of the bosnian army :
- "According to Bosnian government, several thousand refugees have broken through enemy lines and
have been reintegrated into the Bosnian Muslim army. These persons are therefore not missing, but
they cannot be removed from the lists of the missing, because we have not received their names..."
Pierre Gaultier (ICRC spokesperson), Junge Welt 30Aug95.
Then it began frankly to stink the hoax :
- 3,016 people listed by the Red Cross as "missing" have registered in the 1996 fall elections
list. (RC report, published by Balkans Infos No. 6, Paris Oct96).
- "After the war ended in 1995, a Canadian representative for OSCE contacted municipalities all
over Bosnia to try to get lists of their dead, to be used in correcting the election rolls. Few had
any lists or even names to give him. The overall numbers never have been confirmed." E. Sullivan,
The Plain Dealer 15Nov99.

Proofs of massacre being mandatory for us+nato propaganda, one began to look for "evidences of
slaughter", i.e. corpses.
Then a huge problem appeared immediately : no corpses.

The first hypothesis was that corpses have been secretly buried in unknown graves.
Immediately some US experts came out with the latest miracle of american technology : a new
satellite far-infrared imaging system, able to locate decomposing corpses at several feet
underground (Mike O'Connor, NY Times 14May98). The discovery of slaughter's evidences was going to
be a matter of hours, and Karadzics and others Mladics must have been scared shitless.
But the images did not show any secret mass grave.

The persistent lack of corpses lead to the next hypothesis, i.e. that corpses have been dug up and
moved someplace else.
A truck can carry approximately a couple of tens corpses, suppose 40. So the minimal number of
truck travels is N = 10,000/40 = 250. It is the same as a column of 25 heavy vehicles full of
decomposing corpses travelling 10 times back and forth over 300 kilometers between Srebrenica and
some gigantic (but never seen and still secret) mass grave in the nearest safe area. Plus a couple
of tens of bulldozers needed to excavate the multiple mass graves.
Alas ! Not a single trace of such columns or bulldozers has ever been seen.
As an excuse, UN argued that the pinpoint satellite surveillance was requested in Nov95, so the
corpses have been moved earlier.
Fortunately, the same very provident US experts didn't wait for UN requests : "We will keep
watching to see if the Bosnian Serbs try to erase the evidence of what they have done" (Madeleine
Albright at UN 10Aug95).
But the watchful eyes of US surveillance showed nothing.

Facing the evidence that there is definitely something wrong with corpses, the next hypothesis (NY
Times 95) was that bodies have been destroyed by sodium hydroxide, a highly corrosive agent used in
a nearby aluminium processing plant.
The problem is that even Serbian soldiers have to deal with Lavoisier's law, and meat treated with
sodium hydroxide does not disappear, but produces the same quantity of highly corrosive sludge.
Accordingly, the 10,000 deads should have been transformed into approximately half a million
kilograms of sludge.
(Useless to say that such stuff, released in the environment, would have produced a dreadful
ecological catastrophe)
Alas. Not a single gramme of any sludge has ever been found.

Desperately looking for an intelligent explanation, the last advanced hypothesis was that corpses
have been burned.
In the absence of industrial high-capacity cremation setups, the only possible method is the use of
the classical method of barbecueing, i.e. use of wood as cremation fuel. In order to be burned
properly, a corpse needs several times its weight of wood, so 10,000 corpses need several thousands
tons of wood.
But several thousands tons of wood burning half a million kilograms of T-bone steaks would have
produced such an enormous quantity of smoke (and I dont speak about the smell) so that even the
blindest satellite would have been cutouted. (Try to imagine one hundred thousands barbecues
carbonizing several millions of sausages) .
Not speaking about the massive deforestation produced by cutting off several thousands tons of
trees.
There has been no smoke, no cutout, no deforestation.

Totally desperated, the US administration found the ultimate explanation : "The lack of corpses and
traces indicates how perfectly and meticulously this operation has been designed, planned, and
executed". rotfl

But one of the most interesting reports on Srebrenica is the famous UN report (resolution 53/35
30Nov98). The interesting chapter is the VIII. 318 (The aftermath of the fall of Srebrenica: 12-20
July)
Comments of the introduction are appetizing :
"...evidence of atrocities taking place gradually came to light."
We are later enlightened about the origin of those evidences :
"...survivors of the mass executions began to provide accounts of the horrors they had witnessed".
While nobody ever survived mass executions carried out on millions of people by NKVD, nazis,
etc..., Serbian soldiers are such morons that they are unable to execute properly a couple of
thousands of people.
And suddenly there are hundreds of "survivors", having miraculously survived from a bullet fired in
the head at point-blank range, to tell how they have been executed.
This lack of seriousness of Serbian units singularly contrasts with the extremely high
professionalism they demonstrated when making corpses disappear from Srebrenica.
Since there wasn't any real proofs, UN decided to consider as a primary source of evidences...
guess what (I'm rotfl) : the mass media.
"Those (UN) reports included information obtained from governmental and non-governmental
organizations, as well as information that had appeared in the international and local press".
No need for witnesses or testimonies : it is printed in the NY Times or in the Disneyland Chronicle
!
"The aforementioned sources of information (...) form the basis of the account which follows".
We are warned : Mickey Mouse's testimony will be used to file suits against Milosevic. But it is
not finished :
"Sources are purposely not cited in those instances where such disclosure could potentially
compromise the Tribunal's ongoing work"
They are probably talking about this famous witness "F", whose testimony has been the base of the
indictment of Donald Duck - sorry, Gruban Malic.
Aaaah. Thanks to UN reports, we can finally get some good piece of laugh...

AH, I see;
Nato+UN=(Big LIE)7000>X

It appears that we may longer hear from the NON-JEW BARNSCHWEIN and his sword of rightiousness for his true identity has been revealed. In so much as he longs for attention and punishment I have every confidence that he'll reappear. HMMMMM just wondering in what format: a monk; or muslim; or an alian from out of space; maybe a Freedom Fighter from Chechnya; a barnyard animal; or as a Russian "his true desire"; perhaps a transexual "his true passion". The list can go on and on. Regardless, no matter what or who he becomes, his true identity will always be brought forth, i.e.,. an ugly, green toothed, pimple faced pile of bones who is ignorant to the ways of the vastly superior female world. OH MY, I might of just said something wrong. HE HE HE. Anyways, "SIMPLY LOVE THAT PICTURE."
