I just watched a video recorded in Chechnia, showing actual mujahedeen ambushes. This group of fighters -about 100 men in total- managed 3 ambushes in 8 days. I counted more than 20 destroyed tanks, armoured vehicles, and lories, with more than 50 Russian bodies, burned, blasted to pieces, or simply shot dead during the ambushes.

You could see that young Russian conspcripts were no match for the mujahedeen.

I did not entirely enjoyed seeing so many dead young soldiers, but I guess since they were invading a soverign country, they knew what was in-store for them.

Official Russian losses are more than 10,000 dead or wounded. Multiply that by five since Russians regularly lie about their losses at least by one-to-five, that means 50,000 Russians no longer fighting in Chechnia. Casualties of the unwinnable war.

I will not be surprised if Russian losses increase even more from now on.

Russia is on its way out of Chechnia. Sad part is many more young Russian soldiers won't be going home.
