I DONT GIVE A DAMN IF PUTIN ENGRAVES LENINS NAME INTO HIS FORHEAD. HE HAS NOT CHANGED THE GOVT. THE FALL OF THE RUBLE STILL CONTINUES, AND PEOPLE STILL SUFFER. HOW IGNORANT ARE PEOPLE. NO ONE WILL BRING CHANGE. ZYUGANOV IS THE ONLY WAY.

ALLAM

How the Heck are you Hairy - you miss Me?

Sorry, but do I know you?

I'm quite leary of speaking to strangers on the internet. With so many sexual predators not to mention misguided, lonesome, loser, trailer park living, drunken towelheaded perverts floating around a single, vivacious, sexual icon such as myself cannot be to carefull. If that is not the case, would you kindly refresh my memory as to who you are?

Now, if you will excuse me I must wash and fuel my dump truck and have a brewski or two. Oh! it's Saturday, least us not forget the bath....OH! THE BATH...FINALLY, THE BATH...

FREDDIE..

Mis-counted, actually it's 2 1/2 teeth. After last match top front tooth broke, leaving 1 1/2 on top and one on bottom front. As far as comparing facial hair with Bayasev..can't give you an honest answer for I shave twice daily (good business appearence) but on weekends, I give my face a rest. Must say though, in those two days it gets pretty thick so maybe if I let it grow I could give ole peg leg a run for his money.

Russia's Putin Approves WW2 Art Booty Law

MOSCOW, May 27, 2000 -- (Reuters) President Vladimir Putin has approved a controversial law barring the return to Germany of art treasures seized by the Red Army during World War II, the Kremlin said Friday.

A Kremlin spokeswoman said Putin signed amendments to the law Thursday, ending years of legal battles between the Kremlin and parliament over the fate of thousands of artifacts hoarded in Russian museums since 1945.

Berlin wants them returned and has said the legislation contravenes international law and bilateral agreements.

The bulk of the art works will remain in Russia as the law clearly forbids their return to Germany.

Former President Boris Yeltsin, seeking to build ties with Germany, had opposed the law and wanted it scrapped altogether.

The works in question include a rare Gutenberg Bible, gold artifacts from the ancient site of Troy, a drawing by Rembrandt and paintings by Claude Monet and Henri Matisse.

The amendments signed by Putin leave the door open only for Moscow's wartime allies to claim pieces of art stolen by the Nazis from their territory and brought to Russia.

These also include items which belonged to victims of the Nazis inside Germany, such as certain religious organizations or people who opposed the regime.

The amended document introduces the notion of "unique" artworks, described as being of "particular historical, artistic, scientific or other cultural value."

Handing such items over to claimants would require a special law and consent from the authorities of Russia's regions where they are kept. This refers only to countries regarded as Russia's aggressors in World War II

May 26 Yesterday in Grozny federal security forces detained Saitkhasan Saltakhanov -- one of the close aides of the known Chechen rebel leader Arbi Barayev. A threat of terrorist activity remains on a high level in Grozny, Argun, and Gudermes. According to the Russian AVN military news agency, groups of rebel fighters were sighted moving out from the villages of Bachi Yurt and Ishkhoi Yurt to the areas of forest in Kurchaloisky and Nozhai Yurtovsky districts. An influx of adult male population (up to 200 people) was observed in Nadterechny, Naursky, and Shelkovskij districts, which may be a sign that rebel fighters are preparing to launch an attack in this area. The situation is most difficult in the areas of Shatoi and Avtury, were local residents and Russian army reconnaissance units cited several large groups of mercenary fighters -- up to 250 men. Another group of mercenaries arrived to Chechnya from Ukraine. It is believed that the number of Ukrainian fighters supporting Chechen rebels is around 100, including 10 to 15 women snipers.

THESE INFILTRATORS MUST BE THE INNOCENT CIVILIANS THE WEST TALKS ABOUT.I DON'T KNOW WHY THE RUSSIANS DO NOT JUST ELIMINATE THEM NOW.ALSO THEY KEEP CAPTURING AMNESTIED FIGHTERS.IT WOULD BE A LOT SIMPLER NOT TO TAKE PRISONERS.

IGOR

Just my 2 cents. But isn't it incredible the way there's always one a$$hole out there who tries to rain on someone's parade? But the more they shoot their mouth off the more arrogant and stupid they proved to be. There was an unwarranted amount of jelousy displayed earlier towards you on this board.

Igor, I heard similiar remarks when I built my 4 level (including finished basement and inside garage) 4 bedroom, townhouse with 4 1/2 baths and no lift. Most negative remarks were passed by tubo wives of business associates during an event like a cocktail party that I would host. These envious TUBO BON BON QUEENS(who probably lie around all day eating) would make casual remarks amongst themselves like what does she need all this room for, I wouldn't want to be walking all those stairs, how can a younger single women afford all this, blah, blah blah. IGOR, heads up, there'll be more sarcastic remarks coming your way, just smile and blow them off, I did. KNOW WHAT.....IT'S A GOOD FEELING..

Thanks for your encouragement Mary.I do not know where he got this idea it was a mansion. It is a large house 3 bedroom and I will build one more downstairs.I also plan to add a theater room for my big screen and stero equipment which is quite extensive.I wonder what the people in Australia live in if he thinks that 1300 sq meters is large.Personally I like lots of room to move around, when you get bored by the view in one room you can go to another one. There is no such thing as too big.Turk I am in the sattelite business for your information and have video game outlets at the flea market that pull in approximately 5 to 6 thousand a week.

Taiwanese are sure asking for war. First they donate money to Tibetan government in exile, then they detail Chinese ship. Geez, feeling lucky or what?

Igor's house
By IGOR ( - 149.99.71.143) on Saturday, May 27, 2000 - 01:31 am:
"Turk ok for you I will translate to sq feet and it is 3860 not counting the basement, "

1 300 sq meters = 14 000 sq feet.
300 sq meters = 3 230 sq feet.

My house is 350 sq meters (3770 sq feet) and I regret it' so small... because I include my ofice and other working space.
I don't count the basement and the garage.

As Igor's house is concerned, either it' a quite normal sized one (300m² or 360m² if 3860 ft²)

Or it's palace four times bigger than mine.
It's possible if he include a 4 cars-two doors garage, the attic, a large entry hall, a Hermitage style staircase and a billard room.

I think it's rather 300 or 360 m² since he placed 75m² of dark granit. (and not 750 m²)

Igor, I'm afraid it will not be rich enough a villa to invite Hairy Mairy!

PS: In eastern europe they sell at the bazaars cd-rom for 5 bucks apiece.
Is that what you mean "video game outlets at the flea market that pull in approximately 5 to 6 thousand (RU) a week. "

Ultra russian Nationalist

Why do you complain the ruble is falling?
The ruble is not a curency... In ten years they will have to delete another row of 00000 from the banknote. And it's normal. the ruble is, how to say, a cheque bearing a temporary value decreasing by the time.
It means that poeple holding ruble have a limited time to exercise theyr purchase in exchange of the paper.
If they don't use it they pay an interest in the form of lesser buying power.

Nobody in Russia regards rubles as money. The main accepted curency is the USdollard followed by the Deutchmark.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME THAT IT IS NOT MONEY WHEN I LIVE THERE. THERE ARE DOLLLARS THAT SERCULATE, BUT THEY ARE VIRTUALLY USELESS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO EXCHANGE THEM FROM A MONEY EXCHANGE KIOSK. THE AVERAGE PERSON USES THE RUBLE. PRICES ARE MARKED UP BY RUBLE AMOUNT AND NOT BY THE DOLLAR AMOUNT. UNLESS THE PERSON IS A EX-BANKER, AND THEY KNOW THE EXACT EXCHANGE RATE OF U.S. DOLLAR TO THE RUBLE, THEY WILL ACCEPT YOUR STINKY U.S. DOLLAR.
