Anyone can escape from human sight not from God's sight.

No one can express the feelings we all have, a feeling of shock, disguss, sorrow, hatered the list goes on & on. My heart goes out to everyone who lost a love one. My prayers & tears are shed for you & your families. God bless me by letting my children's father survive this disaster. For once in a long there wasn't any hatered between us only a feeling of joy to know I didn't have to tell my children there daddy is gone. I pray God will be with us as we go on from here. If war is what it takes to heal part of our wounds than so it be. For now remember the loving times you shared and know that God has your love ones in his hand God bless you all.

Dear Americans,

My words cannot express my shock, sadness and grief at what happened to you, and the world, on Tuesday. I want you to know that my heart goes out to you all and that I am praying for you as a nation and for those directly involved in this tragedy. I am personally shocked and grief-stricken at the horrors of the last few days. You are in my heart and I will continue to remember you in prayer.

God is faithful and I trust that He will be with you now and always. He is strong, merciful and compassionate. He loves peace and justice. Trust Him to look after those who are injured, their relatives, and the bereaved. Jesus shares in your suffering. He suffered Himself and He knows your personal pain. Remember that He loves you. There is nothing you cannot bring to Him.

As a UK citizen it is hard for me to fully appreciate the true horror you have witnessed in your own country, but do not doubt that we are deeply shocked and deeply grief-stricken. You are our friends and allies and we share your values and your love of freedom and democracy. In this country there is a public outpouring of grief and we are terribly distressed at your suffering.

Take heart, have courage and continue to strive for peace, justice and freedom. It is my prayer that those behind this will be brought to justice. Your friends and allies are with you and together we can rid this world of terrorism once and for all.

You are a good people and your love of freedom and justice will ensure that you will emerge victorious and stronger than ever. God bless America!

In Him,

David Greenwood (Manchester, UK)

The sheer horror of what has occurred can never be fully, nor eloquently, expressed. The sense of helplessness we, that are so many miles away, feel is overwhelming. Here in the relative safety of the midwest, with our daily routines uninterupted and our loved ones safely within our sights, I feel a deep seated sadness and anger. This was indeed an attack on the United States, however it has not directly affected us. the brunt of this horrific act has come to rest on the shoulders of our fellow Americans in New York and Washington. That you had to suffer this tragedy on our behalf is unbearable. Bless each and every one of you that has had your lives virtually ripped apart in one single act of hatred. I deeply wish I could physically be there to lift some of the rubble away, aid a person searching for a loved one, lend support to the brave resue workers. Anything would be preferable to watching the news, praying with tearful eyes, and hoping that someone above is watching over our neighbors on the East coast. America is reeling, but we shall rise to meet this evil that has arrived at our doorstep head on. I have faith. Once again, bless all of you.

Has anyone heard of the whereabouts of a John Francis Quinn, a NY Firefighter, a firefighter with the last name of Keegan and another firefighter with the first name Liam. They were honored by the A.O.H. National Convention in Louisville, KY in 1994 for their bravery in the face of the first WTC bombing in 1993? Our prayers are with the families and friends of all of the victims. Please contact us at kerryco@usaor.com

"The entire community of St. Barthélemy, from its highest public officials
to its ordinary citizens, extends its heart-felt sympathy to our many
American friends who are today suffering the consequences of a senseless and
barbaric act of terrorism.

Our close relationship with the United States of America - social, economic,
and political - is a distinctive feature of our island's past, and will
continue to flourish in the future.

Our hearts and minds are with you as we pray for the rapid recovery of the
injured, and support the word-wide effort to eradicate the advocates and
practitioners of terrorism."

(signed)

Mayor of St. Barthélemy
Bruno Magras

Additionally, tomorrow, 14 September,2001, is an official day of mourning
throughout the European Union, including St. Barths. A nondenominational
Memorial Service will be held at the Anglican Church at 4 PM.

God Bless America
