America is the best country in the world. I am proud to be an American citizen. I stand by my government and its politics. I hate to have us stoop as low as the criminals that caused this killing, however I want the United State to hit the criminals and their governments hard. I hope they make them suffer before they are dead. I hate Islam and all that it stands for.

Just wanted to tell you all that it was not Islam that hijacked the planes but it is to believe to be Palistine. The Islamic people think that it was a horrible act and that the people should be punished. They also offered support for the US and sent here some of their people (I think they were troops of some sort). If you are going to hate anyone, hate the people who did this. Hate the palestinian government for Harboring terrorists. I just can't wait for all these awful people to be punished. God bless America and all that it stands for. I am proud to be an American. My heart goes out to all the vitims, thier families and everyone who has been affected by this incident. I hope you all get comfort in your time of need. I am so proud of the way we handled things and have come together. Those terrorists did not instill terror in us, they instilled nationalism. The US will heal and they are going to get what they deserve. My prayers are with you all.

I'm a 23 year old and this such a tremendous and terrible act of terrorism that I have ever seen in my lifetime. It's like most people were saying, "We will hunt down these terrorist and punish them severly!". My heart breaks for the victims and their families and NOBODY in on GOD's green earth should ever have to deal or go through such pain and sorrow!
In my opinion about "outside aliens" who come from other countries should be deported back to where they came from. I'm so sick of them coming here and thinking "Well, the US is an easy country and they have no rules, so lets take advantage of the US citizens". I say, if you come to live in this country, you should obey and act on OUR rules and terrorism is NOT allowed here AT ALL! My prayers are with everyone and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I saw a guy, yesterday, at my college wearing an American flag wrapped around him like a big blanket with tears streaming down his face. I went over to him and even though I didnt know him, gave him a hug. slowly, other people joined us and we all held eachother, sobbed, and showed our support for our country and each other.
We are all in this together and we are ALL feeling this pain. Let's gather beneath the flag of our great nation and be one in this fight against inhumanity and this attack on our freedom. This incident has reminded us just how much we need each other and how proud we should be to be AMERICAN.
All my thoughts and prayers.......

Please God, be with those who had loved ones in NY, DC, and PA on 09-11-01. Please let those waiting, know the fate of those they care about so they may begin to find peace in their hearts. Be with our nation and our allies in our combined effort to let freedom ring throughout the world. Be with those assisting in the rescue efforts in NY and DC and keep them from harm. Be with our troops and the troops of our allies as they are deployed and keep them safe. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I'm writing from Toronto, Ontario, In Canada.
Re: The attack on America

I feel extremely bad, and all my sympathy goes out to America. What happened shouldn't have happened. But no one can stop what has to come.
There are certain things that we can stop. My concern is to my community and my brothers and sisters living in aAmerica and Canada. They are getting accused for being terrorist because we wear turbans and have beards. People don't understand, and don't see a difference between Sikh people and people such as Bin Laden. My grand father, a proper sikh senior, s walking towards a local mall in Long Island in US, and couple of guys (young students) rolled their windows and spit on him and called him horrible names. Yet my grand father was no harm to them. nor to anyone. We didn't do anything, why is our community under sttack all of a sudden.
A sikh student in Highschool got beaten, in confusion to being a muslim. from middle east. He proved his innocense by taking is turban off and showing his long hair. I find that very insulting and d-grading towards our religion.

Another incident happened in Toronto city, when 2 sardars got brutly beaten with base ball bats. the 2 sardars said that people were hitting them as if they were some evil creatures. They also said that people who were attacking them were saying " you muslims deserve to die... and your bin laden deserves to die." Now how ae thoes 2 innocent people related to Bin laden, or muslims when they are sikh. even some Muslim students and people are getting accused of what happened in America. why are we individuals getting invovled in a lie. We didn't do anything. Can't someone do something about this?

I read the message from "concerned girl" in toronto, ontario. We have experienced similar incidents here in huntsville alabama. Please america - dont strike out at others because they may look like the terrorists. Remember that the perpetrators of these heinous acts were only a few - the koran does not call for this sort of action - the terrorists use this as an excuse. Let calm heads prevail - please pray for all concerned - even the terrorists - as they need our prayers to turn their hearts from evil and hatred. I am an american from canada of british descent. I am of the episcopalian faith. Please let God guide all of us as to the right path. God bless america and all of us

words cannot describe how each and every one of us americans are feeling right now, in light of what has happened to our great country. we feel sorrow, anger, shock, disbelief...but at the same time, a great sense of patriotism, pride...and hope. hope that the evil who caused this will be caught and justice served to him, hope that survivors keep being found, and hope that our country goes on forever...

terrorists can try and blow up buildings in the united states, but they will NEVER rid the world of the United States. with each attack, we will just keep coming back even stronger than ever. and for other countries to say that america doesn't have the guts to retalliate...just you wait. you ain't seen nuthin yet.

god bless america. i am SO proud to live where i live and am proud of all the valliant people working in PA, DC, and NYC to save the innocent americans involved in this tragedy

Hope, is what we live for day by day
As the clock ticks, the sun rises and
The steals of our once so loved towers
Lay beneath the surface of the World Trade.

In between the steal beams and the debris,
lay lifeless fire fighters, officers, mothers,
fathers, brothers, sisters, cousins and many others,
Husbands are nowhere to be found, but yet we
have hope that there is life beneath the ground.
We cannot hide the pain we feel as we comfort those who mourn;
for the lives that lay beneath the rubble, or for the lives that are to be born.

This act of violence against our country has filled Americans with sorrow, but we are strong, we will Survive and we will make it past tomorrow. As our American flag
dances in the wind with pride; Osama you cannot hide.

You took our loved ones and you destroyed our towers,
You fuckin’ Coward!
You will never take away this feeling of hope, this feeling of reaching
out to one another in times of need, this feelings that keep us digging through the debris for a sign of life; a sister, a brother or a wife.

We will win this battle in the name of everyone we lost, families, friends, fire fighters, officers for we are united, We are AMERICA…….. And we will get you at any cost.

I been in contact with some of the Examiners going to New York for the recovery phase.

I realize that they are having a difficult time emotionally...and need our support.

And this support could form a lasting friendship.

Since they are temporary federal employees...they can usually only RECEIVE messages...rather than send.

But as you know...they are some of the unsung heroes as they are hidden away in the unglamorous world of identification.

This is something we can do to help. Though we do work on Doe's...this is something beyond our means to help at this point. But I am sure there will be unidentifieds that remain. Maybe at that point we can be of further assistance.

In the mean time...let's let these guys know that we appreciate their help......they often go unthanked. I have it on GOOD authority that THIS would be something that would be of comfort to these individuals.

Place your comments here:

I have contacts in the area that will make sure they know where to look to receive these messages.
