TO KISSIE.

I don't know about you, but i as a Bosnian could easaly say "i don't trust serbs" With that also meaning all there resources also the independant once where journalist get killed over Thing is i don't. You know why......., cause thats exactly where the hate begins. If we wan't the world to be a better place we first must learn to trust.Trust ourselves, trust eachother, and learn to see that were all humans nothing more nothing less.
I don't trust sources that come directly from the coverment either, but i look for independant sources.Everything i can get my hands on and for a big part my ears meaning listen what people inside have to say.Inside meaning: Bosnia,Serbia,Croatia as my sources ly there.
About the demonstrations going on.Its not a bunch of shouters if you would ever been in one in either Serbia or Bosnia you would know that what these people do is certainly NOT without risk.
For oppressed people its always courage to let your voice be heard. No matter where you live.

TO KISSIE. The following article taken from reuters is in words i did not have what the demonstrators achieve. So no just shouting at all.

SERBIAN MINISTER ADMITS LOSS OF KOSOVA. Serbian Deputy
Prime Minister Ratko Markovic said that the June peace
agreement meant that "Kosova was taken from Serbia," the
Belgrade weekly "NIN" reported on 29 July. He compared
Serbia's agreement on the loss of the province to the
decision of an injured person to have a leg or arm
amputated in order to save his life. Observers note this
is the first time that a top-ranking Belgrade official
has publicly admitted that Serbia lost Kosova as a
result of the recent conflict. Officials generally claim
that Serbia won the war because Kosova legally remains
part of Serbia and because the administration there is
in the hands of the UN, not of NATO or the UCK.

L'menexe:

Yes, the Mad Madeleine Clone article is for real. It was on the Yahoo News site and a few other sites. There are some really crazy people who work for the US State Dept. and a lot of drunks, too!!

Zoja:

Thanks for the tips on Dani and Svijet. I've been looking for Bosnian sites with uncensored information and open forums and message boards. Do you know of any? All I can find are "official" web sites with "official" statements. Same for most of the former Yugoslav republics. I don't mean to offend anyone, but sites I've found that have the most open and lively discussions, forums, and message boards are all Serbian. Any suggestions?
